How can we help?

Privacy Share Guard does not require an account. For a problem report, include your iOS version, device model, and the step where the issue occurred—but do not attach a sensitive image unless you intentionally choose to share it.

Getting started

  1. Open Privacy Share Guard and choose a photo, or try the included synthetic sample.
  2. Wait while the on-device scan checks for possible text, faces, QR codes, barcodes, GPS, and common metadata.
  3. Review every highlighted region and the rest of the image yourself.

Using Safe Share

In Photos or another compatible app, select one PNG, JPEG, or HEIC image, tap Share, then choose Safe Share. If it is not visible, open the Share Sheet's action editor and enable it.

Photo access

The app only needs access to the image you choose for review. If selection is unavailable, open iOS Settings, find Privacy Share Guard, and check Photos access.

Scanning and privacy

Scanning uses Apple Vision and ImageIO on the device. The app has no account system, analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, or network backend. Images and detected values are not uploaded by the app. Read the full Privacy Policy.

Current limitation

Version 1.0.0 is an early detection preview. It does not yet redact content, verify a modified copy, or export a shareable safe copy. A result with no findings is not a privacy guarantee.
